The Impact of Little Acts of Service
Ryan Ramos was once an HR supervisor, working an 8AM - 5PM shift. He got into Uber as a sideline job to earn extra income, but eventually decided that the office space wasn’t for him -- so he became an Uber partner, full-time.
As an Uber rider himself, Ryan understands the impact of the little acts of service, and he says his goal, more than earnings, is to make each trip memorable for the rider from having conversations with them to giving career advice. It’s all part of giving the “Uber Experience”, Ryan says.
He also prides himself for his high ratings, and the good feedback he gets from his riders is what pushes him to drive each and every day. He says, It’s not just about the earnings, but the fact that I made someone’s day, that motivates me to get on the road every single time.
